We Don’t Have to Do Anything Until We Are Independent (2016)

The Korean version, We Don’t Have to Do Anything Until We Are Independent, was created and performed as part of the SeMA Biennale Mediacity Seoul 2016. Participants in the workshop Adjustements, organized by the summer school The Village, created slogans inspired by Korean political issues and performed them together.

Some of the slogans used were “Our disasters are managed well,” “Our schools are to die for,” and “North and South Korea will always be together.” The video of this version was shown in October 2022 as part of the exhibition Scoring the Words at the Seoul Museum of Art.
